About Us

Mission Statement
Clovis Crossfire will strive to be the best soccer club in District 7, Cal North, NorCal, and the Nation. We will offer training that will help our players reach their full potential. We are genuinely interested in educating the players and parents and will not compromise our ethics or integrity in the name of profit. Clovis Crossfire will change the way people perceive a competitive soccer program and we will build into each team a level of quality, performance, and value that will earn the respect and loyalty of the players and their parents.

Purpose
Clovis Crossfire is a USYS & US Club-affiliated competitive soccer program for the Clovis Junior Soccer League. Our passion for the game drives us to develop youth soccer players to reach their potential in both sport and in life. Soccer development provides many of the same challenges as experienced in life and the Crossfire seeks to improve player skills and abilities in both.

Clovis Crossfire has adopted 6 values to accomplish it’s objectives:

Commitment
Say what you’ll do and do what you say. Being dependable and reliable is critical to both individual and team success. Competitive soccer requires a significant commitment to perform at a high level. Expectations are high, but rewards are great.

Discipline
The game requires a special discipline consisting of a desire to learn and improve, practicing with purpose, being prepared and on time for events, independent development, and understanding consequences to our choices. Through discipline, Crossfire players will learn how to get the most out of their abilities.

Teamwork
Soccer is a team sport. Players must learn how to work effectively with others. The Crossfire seeks to provide successful opportunities for each player, utilizing their natural abilities while encouraging them to try new skills. By becoming a more proficient player, the team is strengthened. Players will learn when they need to take the lead and when they should play a supportive role to enhance overall team performance.

Community
The Crossfire is proud to be a part of such a diverse and thriving community. We recognize there is power in numbers and strive to utilize our resources to enhance the lives of others in our community. We are always on the lookout for ways to help our community, so if you have any ideas, please let us know.

Fun
Soccer is a game and games should be fun. Though fun is defined differently for everyone, the Crossfire believes for it’s players that fun is in the challenge of becoming better, experiencing success in skill development, being with players of similar interest and ability, being treated firmly, but fairly and being part of an organization which makes them proud and confident.

Great Value
The Crossfire believes that competitive soccer should be accessible to all who want to commit to the challenge. Our fee structure covers the minimal amount required to operate the Club and provide the best quality training available to our athletes. Fundraisers and donations keep the costs within reach for most families. Our coaches and trainers are passionate about the game and want to share that passion with players. Crossfire training fees cover base expenses, which differs from clubs which are structured to provide full-time employment.
